Programs
We are excited to offer Barre Flow with Judi again this winter!
BarreFlow® is designed to give students of all fitness levels a challenging and total body workout. By combining aspects of yoga, Pilates, barre fitness and classic strength training, BarreFlow® incorporates strength, endurance and flexibility into one invigorating workout. BarreFlow® will help you achieve a balanced body and a quiet mind in less than an hour! All classes are the same level as the technique was designed to work for people at all points of their fitness journey.
Each BarreFlow class consists of three blocks of exercise and a cool-down. Participants will start class with a 15-minute block of yoga, which begins on the mat and ends up in a standing position. Block 2 consists of the Barre section where various Barre exercises will be done using a chair as the barre. Block 3 will consist of toning exercises, utilizing weights that the participant has brought, a resistance band, a Pilates ball or body weight. The cool-down block consists of yoga on the mat, ending in Shavasana (dead man’s pose).
Participants should bring their own mats, a towel and water. Weights are occasionally used but not required. A maximum of 2lb or 3lb hand-weights is recommended.
